    The solar facility will generate revenues for local taxing jurisdictions. Overall economic benefit expected to be several million dollars.

    Long-term leases provide farmers with guaranteed lease revenues that allow them to sustain operations and invest in innovation and modernization. By protecting the farmland from residential or commercial development, the site can return to agricultural use when the solar farm ends it useful life.

Employment Opportunities

    Jobs will be created during the permitting and construction phase. Currently, local businesses and workers are being contracted for engineering, surveying. In the future, more work will be created during site preparation and construction. Long-term local jobs will also be needed for the operation and maintenance of the solar facility.
